ELD Architecture is seeking a talented Interior Designer with strong design skills and attention to detail to join our team. Applicants shall have 5+ years of relevant experience working on custom residential projects.  The new team member will support projects throughout New England helping our firm continue its growth trajectory.     Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design
    • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suites in a professional office required; Enscape a plus
    • Self-motivated, able to work independently and under supervision
    • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
    • Proficiency in graphic design and construction technology
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously
    • Advanced knowledge of construction documents and millwork drawings and details
    • Experience with design vendors and resources
    • In depth knowledge of furniture, lighting, design materials, and industry standards

    Job Description

    • Support in all phases of architectural and interior design
    • Create construction drawings sets including floor plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, interior elevations
    • Assist in the selection process of tile, lighting, plumbing, hardware, etc., ensuring they align with the project’s design direction and client requirements
    • Create and maintain design schedules such as lighting, plumbing, finishes, etc.
    • Procurement: request quotes, create proposals & purchase orders
    • Coordinate and assist with installations & scheduling
    • Administrative office tasks and marketing support
    • Assist in visiting vendors and showrooms to collect samples and review material options
    • Materials library maintenance
